Yep - I'm a child of the 80's. I went to High School in the 80's so that decade was particularly influential on me. In some ways that's good - and in some ways that's kind of scary. The 80's are not known for good fashion and some would say bad music. I happen to love 80's music but I'm not about to defend the bad fashion. Although - I did see leg warmers in a catalog not long ago (*GASP*). There were a lot of funky dance moves introduced in the 80's too. One of which is the Cabbage Patch Dance. If you watch football, you've likely seen Jerry Rice do this dance back in the 90's.
At any rate - I am doin' the cabbage patch dance today. I found out I was one of the winners again for the Queen & Co. blog challenge. Check it out: http://queenandcompany.typepad.com/queen_co_indulge_your_cre/2007/02/january_blog_co.html
Yippeeeeee!!! They sent me a fabulous prize box the last time so I am just thrilled to have caught the eyes of their design team again. Their new products are amazing (LOVE the jewels, new themed chipboard, bold sequin elements and their new felt ribbon!) Not that I am expecting their new stuff for my prize, but that WOULD be awesome! I am hoping my local scrapbook store will carry these goodies. Either way - the cabbage patch dance is being performed here today in my studio. Thank your lucky stars I don't have a web cam!
