Pumpkin patch - lots of pics

I remember last year at this time - my parents were visiting and we took the girls to a pumpkin patch the day or so before my eye surgery. I can't believe that I was wearing glasses at this time last year. I am still so grateful every day that my Dad made it possible for me to have my eye surgery. I am so very fortunate to have a Dad that wants all his kids and even extended family to have the gift of vision without glasses/contacts! Because I am allergic to contacts, it means that much more as I was bound to my glasses 24/7. Having eye surgery is the best thing anyone has ever given me. Thanks again Dad! :) You're the best!

Here is a layout I did for a sketch challenge using our pumpkin patch photos from last year. And yes - I know how to spell. I spelled "punkins" on purpose. lol!




So after lunch today, we took the girls back to the same pumpkin patch - only it was like 93 degrees outside (it felt like 103!). Jessica had sweat beads under her eyes and above her lips. So we had to make it quick before we all suffered too much from the heat (except Tom of course - who thrives in the heat!) Here are some pics from today:





Then, we went to the store to get dinner. There was a giant inflatable Tampa Bucs football helmet in the parking lot of the Home Depot next door so we took the girls over there first. The opening was facing the sun though which made the surface where you crawl in VERY hot. Jess wouldn't go in, but Lindsay did and I got a couple cute pics of her in there.
