It's Friday!

woohoo! So glad it's Friday. It's been another long week of being sick. Just when I thought I was better (last weekend) I spent another day or so on the couch this week. Dizzy and just miserable. But I *think* I'm over it - just a mild cold now. I am hoping to go to a pumpkin patch this weekend. We have to do it as close to halloween as possible otherwise the pumpkins will just rot here in the hot weather. It was really hot yesterday - I had jeans on and thought I was going to pass out just walking to the bus stop. I think it's supposed to start cooling off here soon though.

Here are a few more pictures from last weekend. The first being the big news of Lindsay losing her front middle tooth. It was hanging crooked there for awhile - and though I haven't seen the movie - I had to laugh when my MIL said Lindsay looked like Nanny McFee...LOL!! Of course - I wish she had brushed her teeth after eating a little bag of fruit gummies...she looks like she has a massive filling in the back of her mouth - but it's just blue gummy remnants (eeew!)

Here is a picture of the girls on the day of their birthday party - Lindsay is being a goofball (what's new):

The girls got tennis equipment for their birthdays from Tom and Judy and while they were here visiting - they took the girls across the street to the park to play with them. Here is Jess taking a little break:

I made a wedding card last night for one of Tom's employees but didn't scan it before he took it with him to work. I made the mistake of licking the envelope though and had to stick it in the freezer so I could try to get it back open after he said, "just don't lick the envelope - I want to show some people at work" DOH! It made me feel good that he wanted to show it off though. :) Hoping to get in my studio this weekend though and actually scrap something....for ME.

Here is a thought for the day (off one of my desk calendars): Our attitudes need adjustment with every change that comes into our lives. Everyone encounters storms and dry wells in his life, which threaten to wreck his attitude. The secret to safe arrival is to continually adjust your perspective.

Have a great weekend!!!
