Lindsay the Great Lizard Catcher

One of Lindsay's favorite things to do is go outside and catch lizards. She can't control herself...she MUST do it! One time she caught one while next to the pool and she dropped him in the pool. He was fine...eventually...but I think he swallowed some chemicals. :( poor little guy! But yesterday she was catching them and Tom (aka Einstein) tells her, "put one on your ear like an earring". She held him up and let go and he just jumped on her shoulder then ran away. I keep telling her that they don't like being caught and to just stop trying to catch them. Not gonna happen. She is obsessed with them. So anyway, I run to the store and when I get back, Lindsay's ear is bleeding. I'll give you 2 guesses why.

mmmm hmmm, she tried to put another lizard up to her ear and he bit her. Her ear was actually bleeding pretty good...but I got it to subside before remembering to take a photo. She told me "Mom, I was brave, I didn't cry" LOL...all I could do was look out the back window at Tom and shake my head at him while giving him 'the look' LOL!!

Cami,
Sounds like you've got a little handful of a girl there, LOL! Too cute! Yes, I don't think letting any type of animal hang off of your ear like an earring is a good idea!

She sure has some spunk your little girl!! Getting that close to a lizard is something that would happen to me!! Look forward to seeing the layout to go with the photo!

Hey Cami! Long time no see! I can't wait to see the layout that accompanies that photo! At least she isn't scared!! Brett would be terrified! He is a little "girly" when it comes to bugs and lizards! Hope to see you soon!

hey...I'm married to an Einstein too! LOL!! Poor Lindsay -- glad she was brave though! Lizards are cute, but I don't think I'd want to hold one....blech! :) --Rita
