The class today was great. We sped through the 4 layouts but I did not finish because I didn't want to just slap my handwriting all over the pages that called for journaling. Plus - they asked for 4x6 photos...but the photo mats in the kit were 4x6 so I still need to cut down about 16 or 17 photos to fit inside the mat. AND - they didn't specify to bring 5 photos - all portrait or 2 landscape and 3 portrait or whatever. So the photos I took - didn't really fit the layout design. So I need to play around with the layouts before I continue gluing stuff on there!
I am going to try to work on these this weekend. I tell ya - I was never a strip paper person (where one piece of patterned paper had about 10 different strips of patterns/colors on there) but she really changed my mind. I LOVE them! Ruban Rouge was the very first place in the whole world to get the new chipboard and we got some in our kits. It sands really nicely! great chipboard! The papers were REALLY cool. I love them so much more now than I did before. Has that ever happened to you? You think you don't care for certain papers - then you start playing with them and when everything comes together - you decide the paper is FAB! ?? Happened to me...love it! And now I must say I am a little sad that I did not try out for the SR design team. I have a renewed love for Scenic Route paper!

It's kinda nice to have a "think outside the square" moment. I saw the sr chipboard and loved the exclamations they were awesome... have fun playing with those!!!
