halloween fun

Halloween is over. I have to wait another whole year before I can get the fun halloween photos again. I totally blew it this year. I was busy making dinner when Tom decided to cut-n-gut the pumpkin. Then I was busy getting the girls dinner and getting them dressed in their costumes...and sweeping up a broken glass bottle of sage all over the floor - while Tom carved the pumpkin. I got one and only one picture of them - after they came home. Then I took a bad picture of the pumpkin. I was too tired to try to get more. We've been to a party at a friends house last Friday, a birthday party with lots of kids on Sunday, a Moms Club Halloween party on Monday afternoon, then trick or treating last night. I'm partied out. At the Moms Club party while the kids were bobbing for apples, I start getting bit by ants. I hate ant bites too because they burn and itch non-stop. I've put tee tree oil on the bites, alcohol, benadryl, caladryl, old-fashioned/plain jane toothpaste, and just now an epsom salt hot foot soak (wow - that helped!). But because the bites are on my toes, side and bottom of my feet - they just start hurting again as soon as I start walking. Guess I'll have to ride this out.
