Not a whole lot going on this week. Lindsay has been sick all week and now Jess is complaining that she is getting sick. Lindsay basically just has a cough at this point - but it keeps her up all night which keeps US up all night. Tom and I are both exhausted because neither of us has gotten much sleep - good sleep - this week. I haven't been online much since last week. I'm having withdrawals. LOL Sometimes I find myself glued to this laptop and let my days slip away from me. Not good. I am really trying to be better about that. Sometimes I get too consumed with things that are just not that important. Speaking of which (lol), I watched the final episode of Rock Star: Supernova last night. Sorry, but I'm just not a Lukas fan. His voice is just ...weird. I really don't think I could listen to an enire CD of him singing. I am wondering who will be featured on next season's Rock Star. Does anyone know?
My scrapbooking goals for the next week (or so): I am wanting to sort through and organize my printed photos and then I am going to sit down with my latest idea books and start brainstorming some ideas for an AAM book. I have been focusing all my scrapping on the girls for the most part and feel like I need to record a little more about my life. Who I am. Why I'm here. What makes me...me. I have been reminded (from a post on Rita's blog) that life can throw you some curve balls. I've decided to forget my hangups about scrapping about myself and just do it. I'm doing it for my family...my girls.
I have a new item on my wish list. It's called Picture Perfect Home Studio. I am not a professional photographer so I don't need an actual studio - BUT, a tiny little portable backdrop would be so great for taking pics of the girls. Maybe for Christmas. I'll have to drop some hints to Tom (since I don't think he reads my blog). Actually, maybe I should ask for some photography classes first...ya think?
Today - I just may do a little challenge that Suzanna posted on her blog. I am going to look for some older pictures of me and scrap a page using those pics. I may even scraplift her layout. ;)
One more thing - I saw the best commercial the other night. I *think* it was for an insurance company. Not sure. If anyone sees it - would you let me know what company this commercial is promoting? But the concept of the commercial was how being kind to someone can cause a chain reaction. It may not even be the person that you show kindness to - but it could be an onlooker that see's that good deed and 'pays it forward' - which, for the record "Pay It Forward" is one of my favorite movies. I loved this commercial because it showed this chain reaction of kindness - some acts being the smallest, simplest things that catch other people's attention and make them want to be nice. This world really needs a massive chain reaction of kindness. Just a reminder to do something nice for someone today. Even if it's small. Keep your eyes open and notice when other people are doing nice things...it will make your heart happy. Pay It Forward.

Cami,
I know, I can't believe Lukas won, his voice is just really annoying to me. Oh well!
Can't wait to see your lo of old photos! I wondered where you had been, I noticed you weren't online as much the past few days. Have a great day! Oh, and I know the commercial you're talking about, I love it too, but for the life of me can't remember who it's for.
