Our A/C unit is not working again. ugh! It had a crack in one of the pipes and was dripping water all over the garage floor so we had it serviced today. Can anyone tell me why they can't be any more specific when making appointments? "We'll be there sometime between noon and 6pm ma'am" ?? So anyway the guy finds out that the pipes are clogged and that's why the water was being forced out in the garage. He fixes it, says I'm good to go and leaves. An hour later I'm feeling kinda warm...an hour after that I'm just downright HOT. Called them back and they'll be back out tomorrow...between 8 and 1. I hope it's closer to 8! I'm dyin in here! It is in the 80's ...inside!
Lindsay is doing good in kindergarten. She loves doing anything creative. We get her homework for the week on Monday afternoon. Her homework for each day this week was something artsy. We didn't sit down and do homework on Monday night so Tuesday I told her she had to make up for not doing mondays homework. She sat down and wouldn't stop. She did 4 days of homework in one sitting. I tried to get her to pace herself so she wouldn't feel 'tired' of doing homework...but she insisted that she do it all right away. This makes me happy!! She is definitely a typical lefty...loves the artsy things like music and art. I'm not saying that she's skilled in either of these just yet - but I don't care. I just want her to love them! As her reward for doing such a great job on her homework, everyday for the rest of the week I'm taking the time she would normally be doing her homework and doing something special with her. She told me today "Mom, I love hangin out with you. And I love talking to you." I'm writing this down. I may have to frame it. Who knows if she'll feel the same way in 10 years...I sure hope so.
Wanted to share a couple more pictures that I've taken in the past couple days. I sure wish that frog was not on the lid of a bottle of bubbles. I would love to catch pictures like this in a more natural environment. Beggars can't be choosers though huh?

I have a "lefty" too my dd sophie loves anything to do with art, drama (i have to say she could be termed a bit of a "queen") and surprise surprise loves to scrapbook... an in-built scrap buddy!!!

very cool pics Cami! i love frogs if you haven't noticed in some of my layouts! lol! your dd is just like mine, wants to do it all in one sitting! too cute...i also understand that you home she still "likes" you in 10 years...with my oldest i am waiting for the time that she won't want to hang out with me..she is 10 now. Yikes, how did that happen! lol
